What is Monthly Mingles?

Monthly Mingles is a casual business card exchange for busy professionals looking to have fun while networking and growing their business. We found that many people, like ourselves, are busy running their business, which leaves little time for socializing and having fun. So we mixed business with pleasure to create a happy hour event where introductions and business exchange is always encouraged.

How Monthly Mingles Started

Our first Business Card Mingle in June 2000 began as a volunteer project for the Clearwater Jaycees. We created a casual business card exchange to encourage business owners and career professionals to network and have fun in a happy hour environment. These events were an immediate success a few months later, we created Monthly Mingles.

FREE No Membership Required

What makes this group truly unique is that all events are open to everyone. No membership dues, no commitment, no cliques. Just a group of business professionals who are interested in networking and growing their businesses. This open format attracts lots of new faces which keeps our casual meetings fresh and allows the opportunity to meet 30-40 people at each event. And that’s a productive use of time.

What Makes Monthly Mingles Different?

What really sets Monthly Mingles apart from other networking groups is the format.  NO silly games to play.  NO bells will ring.  NO table swapping.  NO long speeches.  Just a casual business card exchange.  Our attendees are here to meet other business professionals, enjoy happy hour, and have fun!  We know how important it is to make that perfect contact and we don't want to interrupt you with rediculous games and boring windbags.
